The BMW i8 looks like something straight out of the future. When it debuted in 2014, onlookers gasped with amazement, and interested parties flocked to showrooms to see what the fuss was all about. The i8 was one of the early models from BMW’s now-renowned ‘I’ range of electric and hybrid vehicles. Over 20,000 vehicles were sold between 2014 and 2020, which is pretty decent for a low-slung, two-door sports car that fills a pretty niche market segment. So, if you want to get your mitts on an i8, here’s a 53,000-mile 2015 BMW i8 available right now. The car comes with some neat cosmetic enhancements, too.

Originally a blue car, this 2015 BMW i8 is actually still blue – underneath its Inozetek Chalk Gray wrap, that is. So, you can decide which color will suit your persona and pick accordingly. The car’s 21-inch Vossen HF-5 wheels also contribute towards its unique appearance and are quite different in looks from the stock units that BMW fits to the i8 line-up. So, even if you park this among a gathering of other i8s, it’ll still stand out. The lime green interior of this 2015 BMW i8 is a custom affair featuring Lamborghini leather. Fitting, given that the i8 also sports butterfly doors as factory fitment. However, this car also has a Rolls-Royce-style illuminated star roof, and some carbon fiber trim. Of course, it’s got all the expected features, including dual-zone automatic climate control, a Harman/Kardon speaker system, a digital gauge cluster and BMW’s iDrive infotainment interface. Since it’s a coupe, you’ve also got two small rear seats, although we don’t recommend placing any adults there. Treat the i8 as a two-seater with extra luggage space behind the front seats, and you’ll find it very livable.

The i8’s space-age looks are backed up by an interesting powertrain. There’s a mid-mounted 1.5-liter turbocharged 3-cylinder engine to power the rear wheels via a 6-speed automatic gearbox. Meanwhile, there’s a front-mounted electric motor to drive the front axle. The result is an all-wheel drive beast with 357hp and 420lb-ft on tap. Zero to sixty can be done in as fast as 4.5 seconds, while the top speed is electronically limited to 155mph, just like most other BMWs.

This 2015 BMW i8 stands out as a coveted early-production example equipped with the top-tier Pure Impulse World package, making it one of the most premium configurations available. Finished in Crystal White Pearl Metallic w/ Frozen Blue Accents, it carries the most iconic i8 look while pairing it with the Pure Impulse Carum Spice Full Perforated Leather interior—BMW’s highest interior specification for the model year. BMW’s futuristic i8 caused quite a stir way back in 2013 when it launched. Here was a vehicle that, if you digitally removed its wheels and wheel arches, would look like a spaceship. In fact, the i8 is the result of BMW’s Vision EfficientDynamics concept car basically being put into production almost as-is. Spearheading the start of the ‘i’ sub-brand of cars from BMW, the i8 remains not just a curio, but a historically significant model in the Bavarian automaker’s long legacy. Today’s 2016 BMW i8 represents one way to enjoy a slice of that fine cake. This Utah-based machine has traveled just under 47,000 miles so far and comes with the Tera World Package.

When the BMW i8 was revealed to the world in production form, it drew gasps of amazement. The design had showed up in not one but two concepts, and a prototype was created in 2013. One year later, the production variant debuted and it was near-unchanged! That’s quite rare in the automotive world, save for a car as dramatic as this. The i8 heralded BMW’s push of ‘i’ models, with its space-age shape, butterfly doors and hybrid powertrain. Today, you can net yourself one, in the form of this Oshkosh-based 2016 BMW i8. Having done just over 57,000 miles, it’s a fine way to see how BMW envisioned the future back in the early 2010s.

Debuting in 1969, the Range Rover was made by Land Rover as a vehicle that would slot in above their Land Rover Series model, in terms of size, as well as luxury. It proved to be a strong seller, and continues to this day, having spawned some sub-derivatives like the Range Rover Sport and Range Rover Velar too. Hence, for those seeking an iconic British luxury four-by-four, a regular Range Rover is a great choice. The Porsche Panamera is a four-door luxury car from Porsche that was introduced for the 2009 model year. Curiously, it’s not the first four-door to come from the German sports car maker; that honor goes to the Cayenne several years earlier. With its coupe-inspired silhouette and sporty driving dynamics, the Panamera is intended to offer a more practical four-door four-seat alternative to the 911. Here, we have a second-generation 2023 Porsche Panamera GTS for sale from California. It’s got just 2,748 miles on the clock and a twin-turbo V8 under the hood. It’s also equipped with the Premium Package, front massage seats and the Burmester 3D High-End Surround Sound Package. If you want a luxurious but engaging to drive four-seater with space for a small family, this car ticks all the boxes.
