Following Tesla's success with the all-electric Tesla Roadster, Fisker Automotive announced and produced their plug-in hybrid luxury sports sedan the Fisker Karma. Fisker Automotive was founded in 2007, until its eventual sale, and consequently renamed Karma Automotive. An updated version of the Fisker Karma was the 2016 Karma Automotive’s Karma Revero, a luxury plug-in hybrid sports saloon manufactured in California, USA. The Revero is essentially a redesign of the Karma but with up-to-date technology and features. The present-day Karma Automotives was the brainchild of the Danish automotive Designer Henrik Fisker.
