Bentley is the choice for the discerning luxury car buyer who loves to drive, rather than be driven. That’s why this brand is a bit more towards the tire-smoking, apex-cutting direction, unlike Rolls-Royce, who frown upon such shenanigans. While the brand makes some superb full-size luxury sedans, grand tourers and even an SUV today, why not sample some old-school, modern-classic Bentley magic. Consider this 1999 Bentley Arnage Green Label as the perfect partner to do so. It’s got under 77,000 miles on the clock, and comes to you with two keys. Morevoer, the current owner tells us that it’s received an oil and filter change, plus an HVAC system servicing in August 2024.
The color of this 1999 Bentley Arnage Green Label is called Light Blue Metallic, but it’s a misnomer; instead what you’ll find is a rich and deep shade of blue that seemingly shifts its intensity depending on lighting and viewing angle. It’s a beautifully regal shade for a regal car. Furthermore, you’ve got all the classic Nineties Bentley styling cues to admire, including the twin headlamps, imposing radiator grille, and stylishly swept rear profile. The car rolls on a set of five-spoke alloy wheels that gel well with its overall aesthetic. The interior of this 1999 Bentley Arnage Green Label presents itself with a Parchment color theme. You’ll find wood grain dash and trim elements, leather-upholstered seats, metal switches, and white-faced dials. The front seats are power-adjustable and include two-level heating. Then, you’ve got dual-zone automatic climate control with air conditioning, plus rear passenger air vents. The air vents are controlled via Bentley’s famous “organ stop” pulls, which continue to this day, seen inside the brand’s 2024 models. Meanwhile, there’s a roomy cargo compartment, as you don’t compromise on luggage when you own and drive a Bentley.
Powering this 1999 Bentley Arnage Green Label is a 4.4L twin-turbocharged V8 from BMW. Bentley reportedly rates the engine at 349hp and 420lb-ft. Power is channeled to the rear wheels through a 5-speed ZF automatic transmission. Power-assisted disc brakes on all wheels ensure ample stopping power, while power steering is included to help when maneuvering and parking this behemoth.

The Bentley Arnage was a new look for Bentley in the late 90s that continued all the way till 2010 before being succeeded by the more well-known Bentley Mulsanne. The Arnage was initially powered by a BMW M62 V8 engine with a Cosworth-engineered twin-turbo installation. However, this prestigious limo came with a bit of history when BMW threatened to stop supply of their engines during the takeover battle against Volkswagen Group, and they did. The revised version of this car was launched as the Arnage Red Label in 1999, and several minor modifications were made to the original BMW-powered cars. It reverted back to the old V8 engine with a single Garrett T4 turbocharger, the same unit as this particular model we have today that has clocked a mere 38,000 miles since 2001. This also resulted in the Arnage taking the title for the four-door car with the greatest amount of torque at the time. For sale in Humble, Texas, here is your chance to own this 2.5-tonne monster with sumptuous craftsmanship inside.
The Bentley Arnage is widely considered to be the last of the old-school Bentleys. Introduced in 1998, when Volkswagen was purchasing Bentley from the Vickers Group, the Arnage continued until 2010. It presented a stark contrast to the brand's newer and more modernly designed Continental GT and Flying Spur models of 2005 and after. In its early days, the Arnage was also badged as the Rolls-Royce Silver Seraph. Up for sale today is a lovely 2005 Bentley Arnage R with 61,000 miles and plenty of old-school charm and character. Delving deeper, we'll also show you some of its surprising luxury and comfort features.

It seems that the majority of cars are built with sportiness in mind. They’re all about setting record lap times and immense cornering speeds. Sometimes though, it is time to take a step back and appreciate the other end of the spectrum. This 2017 Bentley Continental GT V8S with just 18,000 miles on the odometer is not a car you set record lap times in. But a new Canon Ball record? That’s more its forte. Wafting along the interstate in complete silence is something that most other cars struggle to achieve. With the name synonymous with Bentley for several decades, Bentley has built a reputation for creating one of the best, if not the best grand tourers of all time, and the rest as they say is history.

Most British cars in the world have suave to them just like the lads who build them. Abs of course, Aston Martin is one of the leading luxury auto manufacturers, with the DB7 being the most-produced Aston Martin automobile up to 2004. The Jaguar XJS platform evolved into the DB7 platform, albeit with numerous modifications. In the mid-1990s, the Aston was warmly received since the DB7 returned Aston Martin to its classic design aesthetic, which made its models some of the most exquisite vehicles ever produced. Fast forward to 2003, the DB7 was available in many flavors, including the vantage Volante version we feature here. It reportedly has only 27,362 miles on its clock and has all its maintenance up to date.
The 2000’s was truly a golden era for German engineering, with each manufacturer pushing out iconic motors that boasted appeal and retain value even to this day. Present today is an icon of the early 2000’s and it takes shape with this lovely 2002 Mercedes-Benz CLK55 AMG Cabriolet. With a reported 11,700 original miles on the clock and its original window sticker present, this modern German classic is a survivor and almost a factory fresh example that makes for the perfect Sunday drive.
