Exterior and Interior

The exterior of the 1997 American General Humvee has been customized to stand out from the norm. You’ll still see the unmistakable Humvee lines, but a reportedly new black paint job has been added to that. The Humvee sits on upgraded wheels with oversized off-road tires. You’ll also spot a front light bar for added visibility at night. Inside this 1997 Humvee, there is a custom black interior. You’ll notice it features Neon Green graffiti-style paintwork for some real individuality. Then, there’s an updated custom stereo system with a subwoofer and amplifier. There are also new black leather seats.

Engine

Under the hood, you’ll find a 6.5-liter V8 diesel engine. Power is sent to all four wheels via an automatic transmission. You also get a two-speed transfer case with high and low ranges. The owner reports independent suspension, with coil springs and hydraulic shock absorbers on all four wheels.
