Germany is home to many popular luxury and sports car manufacturers. Porsche which was founded in 1931, is owned by Volkswagen AG, in fact, the first-ever job Porsche had was designing the Volkswagen Beetle. Later on, the founder of Porsches son, Ferry Porsche, went ahead to build the Porsche 356, a 2-door sports car in 1948. The modern-day Porsche brand still builds high-performance vehicles, with the Porsche 911 being their most popular model. The Porsche 911 was first introduced in 1963 as a 2-door rear-engined sports car and has remained true to that formula since then. Fast forward to 2022 the 911 is still in production and currently on its 8th iteration. Up for grabs is a 2021 Porsche 911 Turbo S with just 900 miles on the clock.
Bedecked in the Jet Black Metallic patina and wrapped in a Satin PPF, this 2021 Porsche 9911 Turbo S will take your breath away. If you wonder why many European manufacturers still dominate the sports car world, you only have to look at the Porsche 911. Ever since its first iteration in 1963, the 911 has become one of the most recognizable sports cars ever created. Powerful, agile, and an engineering masterpiece, it has been able to endure as an automotive icon for decades, and this classic 1982 Porsche 911 SC is a prime example of it. This prized specimen comes with a few upgrades, but only just enough to enhance the car’s already stellar specifications, leaving its 3L H6 heart untouched for the most part, except for a recent oil change. With 179,000 miles reported on the clock, this German marvel has proven its mettle and endurance and is a great choice if you want to own a classic Porsche. You could even get your hands on an aftermarket audio player with the deal.
If you’re a Porsche aficionado, you’ll already know this is a rare beast. Limited to just 250 units and only available in the U.S. market, the 1992 Porsche 911 America Roadster is one of the most collectible variants of the already sought-after 964 generation of 911. It was designed to pay homage to the original 356 America Roadster that was created back in 1952. The Porsche 356 AR was also a U.S.-only special, which was made at the behest of famed imported Max Hoffman, who saw demand for a roadster tailored to U.S. consumers. The 1992 Porsche 911 America Roadster features a naturally aspirated 3.6-liter engine in a Turbo body, while other mechanical elements from the Turbo are included. With 77,000 miles on the clock, this limited and desirable classic Porsche could be yours today.
The Porsche 911 is an icon in itself. From its style, layout, and performance all have undeniably been not far from its roots which is why the 911 is as revered and desirable. Initially introduced in 1963 as an air-cooled sports car, the Porsche 911 has evolved to match the modern world but still retains its uniqueness. The previous generation of Porsche 911 was produced from 2011 to 2019 and featured a completely new platform. Porsche 911s are known for being beasts on their own, but with a few refinements and upgrades as with this 2018 Porsche 911 Carrera 4S, the car can zip through a track in no time.
When the Porsche Boxster was first introduced, it was designed to solve a very big problem for the company. At the time, Porsche was in dire financial health and needed a boost in sales to recover from its slump. So, the company designed the two-seat convertible to offer a more affordable entry to the Porsche brand. It was a sales hit, and by the second generation, the Stuttgart-based firm saw demand to provide a fixed-head version. Thus, the first-generation Porsche Cayman was born. The Cayman platform has been praised for its mid-engine layout, which offers different driving dynamics to Porsche’s rear-engine 911, with reviewers describing the Cayman S chassis as confidence-inspiring and rewarding. Our featured car is a 2007 Porsche Cayman S, which features a 3.4-liter engine and just 37,000 miles on the odometer.
When Porsche announced that it was going to make a four-door sedan, many were skeptical. The company was known for its purebred pedigree sports cars, such as the 911, Boxster, 928, and 944. A Porsche sedan seemed unthinkable to many. However, just as they did with the Cayenne SUV, Porsche proved the critics wrong. Reviewers were impressed by the car’s performance and handling, which belied its weight. The interior was luxurious and used high-quality materials, and it was a match for other high-end sedans from the likes of Mercedes-Benz, BMW, and Audi. By 2016, the Porsche Panamera had received a facelift, and the company’s commitment to constant improvement ensured the car was at the top of its game. Our featured car is a Panamera Turbo. Much like its 911 relative, the Turbo moniker signifies one of the highest performance-oriented trim levels that was available. Featuring a twin-turbo 4.8-liter V8 engine, this Panamera Turbo offers all the luxury and practicality of a German sedan with all the potency expected from anything bearing the Porsche crest.
Porsche is no longer just a sports car brand. The German automaker has successfully branched out into offering performance SUVs. And while that may seem fairly normal today — what with everyone from Ferrari (with the Purosangue) to Lamborghini (with the Urus) now having some form of SUV offering — Porsche did it decades before any other sports car maker. The 2015 Porsche Cayenne Turbo is a luxury SUV that offers practicality, with the same sporting pedigree that permeates all Porsche products. Belonging to the second generation of Cayenne, this model improved looks, added tech, and even improved the on-road experience. Our featured car is a well-spec’d example with a 4.8-liter V8 engine, all-wheel drive, and 82,500 miles on the clock.
