Now in its second generation, the Chevelle proved popular across all walks of life, with a lineup that included coupes, convertibles, sedans, and wagons. The car offered for sale today is a 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle two-door coupe in pristine condition, and with several choice modifications and upgrades. In addition to a restored interior and attractively finished exterior, the engine has been rebuilt and has covered a reported 1,200 miles since the work was completed.
The exterior of this 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle has been finished in Charcoal and features subtle black pinstripes running down the sides. The chrome brightwork is intact, including the front and rear bumpers, grille, and headlight surrounds. The car also features SS badging on the fenders, hinting at what lies under the hood. The Chevelle sits on period-appropriate five-spoke chrome wheels wrapped with BF Goodrich tires. Moving inside, you’ll find an interior that has been reportedly redone. Notable additions include a large Autogauge RPM meter complete with shift indicators placed ahead of a three-spoke steering wheel. There are also additional gauges for water temperature, amperage, and oil pressure, as well as the factory speedometer and fuel level indicators. In the center you’ll find a console with cupholders and a period Hurst Pro-matic 2 Ratchet shifter.
