The 2009 Cadillac CTS-V in its stock condition itself is a distinctively attractive sedan. This particular car, however, has been heavily modified to visually complement its superior underpinnings. The car, finished in Raven Black, has been given a Stage 6 paint correction and accented by blacked out badging to complete the murdered out look. The exterior has been augmented with custom headlights with demon eyes and custom-painted upper & lower grills from Big Tundra Enterprises. The stock 19-inch aluminum 10-spoke alloys and exhaust tips have been powder-coated in black. Other cosmetic additions include carbon fiber vents and license plate holders that accent the stealthy, blacked-out appeal of the car. The interior remains mostly stock. Even so, the 2009 CTS-V is a well-equipped machine, flaunting heated, 10-way adjustable leather-shrouded front bucket seats and premium interior elements. Other significant interior features include dual-zone automatic climate control and a 10-speaker Bose 5.1 surround sound system.
The blazing heart of the matter is the upgraded motor of this 2009 Cadillac CTS-V. Under the hood, it gets a 6.2-liter supercharged V8, which outputs 556 horsepower in its stock form. This CTS-V however, is far from stock. It has been heavily upgraded with components including a 5.3 hotrod camshaft with 660-inch Lift LS dual valve spring kit and titanium retainers from Brian Tooley Racing. This setup has been coupled with upgraded push rods from Mighty Mouse and an LS3 timing chain dampener. The supercharger has been upgraded with a CNC-ported LT4 supercharger & snout kit from Kong Performance. The wiring kit has also been upgraded with extreme wire sets from ACCEL. The current owner reports a slew of new mods including a GM reinforced intercooler brick by Dedicated Motorsports, a new Vadder Performance heat exchanger belt, and new 127lb FIC Bosch injectors and auxiliary pump by DSX Tuning. The car is also tuned for E-85 fuel, equipped with a new 5-inch air intake with a Green filter and a Speed Engineering X-pipe exhaust setup. With all of these enhancements, the current owner reports a whopping output of 844 horsepower. As evident from the specs, this 2009 CTS-V isn’t a regular machine. It is a ferocious beast, waiting to be savored by a speed-seeking enthusiast.

Late 50s Chevys and mid 60s Cadillacs have always been popular candidates for restomod projects. However, not all of them are tastefully done like this fully restored 1965 Cadillac de Ville convertible restomod. 1965 was the first model year for the 3rd generation De Ville. It retained the same wheelbase as its predecessor, but the frame was a new perimeter frame (rather than the old X frame). The horizontal headlamp arrangement that had been standard since the late 50s was dropped in favor of a vertical arrangement, which also resulted in a wider grille. Gone were the softer lines of the old car, replaced by a sharper, more boxy design. The tailfins that had started shrinking since 1960 were now lower and slanted slightly downwards rather than slightly upwards. The new straight lines in its design make this car just as good looking with the top down as it does with the top up.
