However, this only enhanced the car's handling but not acceleration due to a slight weight increase to 3,540 pounds. 0-60 takes around 4.1 seconds, and the top speed maxes out at an electronically limited 155 mph. All this is thanks to a 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-six sending 425 horsepower and 406 lb.ft to the rear wheels via a 6-speed manual transmission or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic.
The only downside to owning a 2017 BMW M3 is that the interior may show some signs of wear due to the car being over five years old. Nonetheless, like newer model years, it's comfortable and has a performance aesthetic, which is hard not to love despite not being as plush. As you move towards the side profile, the low ride height and pronounced lines are aesthetically pleasing, and so is the rear end. What we love about it is that, just like the front, it's minimalistic yet aggressive.
As an older model, the 2017 BMW M3's tech can't quite match the latest BMWs, but it offers everything you need with a few extra perks. The infotainment display is an 8.8-inch centrally mounted screen running on BMW's iDrive 5.0, introduced as part of the 2017 refresh. It includes a radio, navigation, Bluetooth connectivity, audio streaming, and more. Sadly, there is no Android Auto or Apple CarPlay. On the upside, you get a 600-watt Harman Kardon sound system that sounds great.
