Consumption figures, which are guaranteed to be at around 40 mpg, are more important in a diesel, but if you want to know the performance numbers, 0-60 mph should take around 7.0 seconds, and the top speed maxes out at 143 mph. Weight is similar to other 2018 3 Series models, tipping the scales at roughly 3,700 pounds; hence, there's no major change in the overall driving experience given that the 328d is rear wheel drive. However, you can also get one with all-wheel-drive.
The 2018 BMW 328d's interior remains similar to that of other 3 Series trims. It's roomy, with enough space to accommodate five people, and it has excellent headroom and legroom in the front and rear. For example, it has a 6.5-inch infotainment display, which will feel outdated if you've been in a newer BMW. Some examples have an 8.8-inch touchscreen display, but it's still insufficient for today's standards. Both displays have navigation, Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth connectivity, an aux input, SiriusXM, and vehicle function controls, just to mention a few. A positive aspect is that the standard 16-speaker Harman Kardon sound system is better than what you'll get in a lot of cars today. The 2018 BMW 328d isn't a highly sought-after model, so its prices are relatively low.
